'The Beach' | Live VJ Performance

In this project, I, in collaboration with 4 Digital Media students, created a VJ project for the music track 'The Beach' by Astral ft. Platinum and performed a live VJ session. Our main objective was to elevate the music through 2D & 3D visuals, making the live VJ session a captivating and enthralling performance.

As a 3D artist and motion graphic designer, I closely collaborated with team members to develop a cohesive concept and coherent style for the visuals, producing the 3D assets for the live VJ session.

Additionally, I teamed up with a fellow student as VJs for the project. We managed the hardware setup and configuration of computers, projectors, screens, and interfaces, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment during our performances. In collaboration, we organized and coordinated visuals with music in Resolume, executed real-time mixing to precisely adjust colour, speed, and effects in sync with the music, and conducted rehearsals.

Our focus was on creating smooth transitions between visuals, enhancing the overall flow of the live performance, and delivering an immersive and captivating visual experience for the audience. Overall, the project was a huge success; we were thrilled with the results.
